Atkin L-36 Kingfisher, L-00, Sitka Spruce, Maple - NEW

(NEW) The Kingfisher L-36 is Atkin's maple iteration of a classic 14-fret L-00, and as you'd expect it has a TON of projection and clarity to go with the understated appointments and vintage vibe.  This one has a Sitka top, tight-flamed maple back and sides and a mahogany neck with a vintage V profile.  The cosmetics are on the austere side, with tortoise top and back binding, bound sound hole with no rosette and an engraved tortoise pick guard with Kingfisher bird theme.  Tasteful finish checking all over loosens up the sound nicely.  

Short 25" scale length with 1 3/4" nut and 2 9/64" string spacing at the saddle.  The V of the neck isn't quite Waterloo-level but it does have a full vintage feel, this exact one measures .865" at the first fret, 1.038" at the ninth.  Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays.  3-on-a-plate Kluson Deluxe tuners with white buttons.  Includes hard case.
