Collings ukuleles, like their guitars and mandolins, set the modern "production" shop standard for acoustic instruments. They just do. These are *not* your grandfather's ukulele. Handcrafted in Austin, Texas, these instruments are a player's dream and we know they are the vintage collectibles of the future.

Del Rey taught us the Blue Uke. Victoria Vox brought it to the singer-songwriter genre. Now Bill Collings, the Master of the fretted instrument universe, will perfect the uke. We are particularly goofy about the white pore filler on black "doghair" effect that looks so good on solid body electrics and certain small C10, OO and OOO acoustics. So when our coolest customer (let's call him Jeff) asked if we'd order up a custom Doghair Collings ukulele for him, we said "we thought you'd never ask". He did, and we did, and here she is. The coolest little puppy in all of Uke-dom. Don't neglect to notice the rope purfling and the pearloid headstock. Will we build more? We thought you'd never ask.	SOLD

Peghead brand 4:1 mechanical, ivoroid binding, gloss finish. This prototype also has the large "haircut" headstock that will be standard on the subsequent UC-2s and above. Sweet warm sound. (NEW) If, like us, you've stood tall against all the doom and gloom and discovered the Joy of Uke, perhaps you'll consider this lipstick-red flame maple Deco box? Straight from the NAMM Show, one of a kind, she is a ringer, this Miss Ida Red. With her tortoise peghead overlay, white white polka-dot-in-tortoise purfling, and red fretboard, she is TOO MUCH FUN. Her maple back and sides and spruce top make her LOUD with tremendous responsiveness and sustain. She will make you smile.	$3,500

Elegantly stylish and modern, with a playful blend of geometric shapes made this unique uke the hit of the show us. Just so bold, just so freaking cool - Bill Collings has such vision and ability to implement tastefully. He's a rocket ship and we're riding him to Mars. Get onboard. Look at the Art Deco headstock. Look at the multi level staggered bridge. It's almost unheard of to have a Collings instrument with no logo on the headstock. Just look at the clean lines on this masterpiece, wouldja? Wouldja?? Collings	Tenor Uke - Koa UT2-K	Just arrived - NAMM Show ukulele (NEW) Just returned from the NAMM Show in Nashville where we were lucky enough to bag this koa tenor uke. The first of the new tenor ukes from the Big Kahuna himself - Bill Collings. Look at the koa. Notice the rope purfling. Celebrate with us the Dancing Flea and consider the superb traditional attention to detail that Collings brings to the uke world. Just a lovely uke with some very fine figured koa. Collings	UT-3 Mermaid Blue Maple	Just Arrived - Easter egg blue A custom maple Tenor uke (UT3M) with our Mermaid Blue finish. Another work of art with ebony headstock overlay and ebony bridge and fret board. The blue is translucent and is slightly darker than is shown in the flash photos.
